LANVIN, founded in Paris in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin, is one of the leading maisons in France and Europe.
The founder, Jeanne Lanvin, was originally a hat craftsman and started a hat boutique based on her talent.
Her self-designed dresses for her daughter gained a reputation and, with their unique aesthetics, delicate and elegant designs and superior technique, gained a following mainly in the high society of Paris in the early 20 century. In the 1920s, Jeanne Lanvin also developed a "robe de style" using the art of decorating, establishing her reputation as an important designer in the Art Deco period.
LANVIN offers a wide range of fashion items, including sophisticated designs of clothing, accessories and perfumes, and focuses on not only high fashion, but also sportswear and casual wear, making them popular with a wide range of people.
The current designer, Bruno Sialelli, became the creative director of LANVIN in 2019 after gaining experience with well-known brands such as LOEWE, Balenciaga BALENCIAGA and Acne Studios.
His designs are based on a unique perspective, while respecting the history and tradition of LANVIN.
