Norwegian Rain Collection.
Based on the knee-length double breasted coat named "Rive Gauche," which means "left bank "in French, this Rive Gauche Redux has been transformed into a design that can be worn over a kimono by making the sleeves wider according to the special order of a kimono shop in Kyoto.
In Paris, the right bank across the Seine is referred to as the "right bank" and the left as the "left bank," while the right bank is the commercial district and the left bank is the cultural district, so people say "spend money on the right bank and use your brain on the left bank.".
Named for this, the Rive Gauche is a coat that features highly intelligent, multifunctional and calculated detail with cultural and artistic meaning.
The outer fabric is made of herringbone fabric, which is available only in the autumn and winter seasons.
In addition to the water-repellent treatment of the expressive and elegant polyester fabric, which at first glance does not seem to be a hydrogen-repellent material, the three-layered fabric with the membrane glued together provides complete waterproofing, and the sewn parts are waterproofed with sealing tape, giving the garment the same level of waterproofing as authentic outdoor wear.
The lining is made of rayon polyester for the autumn / winter season, making it suitable for knitwear as the sleeves are smooth.
The clothing is designed with thorough attention to sustainability, such as the use of materials that are blue sign certified through a sustainable supply chain in terms of the environment, labor and consumers, the use of recycled polyester materials for the outer fabric with as little emission of harmful substances as possible, and the use of only certified cattle horns for the front and sleeves buttons.
The sleeve ends can be adjusted once with an adjuster, and the cuff parts like umbrellas at the sleeve ends can be folded back.
In addition to the outside pockets on both sides, there are a total of six pockets in total, including four on sides.
Two buttons and a leather patch on the back of the hood allow you to change the depth of the hood to your liking.
