RIGARDS 2022 Spring Summer Collection.
This is a collaboration item with ZIGGY CHEN and is limited to 100 pieces that won the 2022 grand prize at the Asia's largest eyewear fair, iOFT. Artistic chamfering of the entire solid horn frame by RIGARDS skilled craftsmen is inspired by the flowing handwriting of East Asian calligraphy, creating a three-dimensional gorgeousness and sophisticated atmosphere. In addition, with the cooperation of ZHENG YIMING, a lacquer artist in Shanghai, the horn is layered with traditional hand-painted lacquer and a number of layers of painstaking polishing. Temple is β titanium. A hollow back structure is adopted to reduce weight, and the temple end is made of sustainable solid wood, which is made from the scrap of luxury furniture.
