DEVOA 2023 Spring Summer Collection.
・About the fabrics
The outer fabric is made in Bishu, a woolen textile production area in Japan. It has a checkered pattern that is so faint that it is almost imperceptible.
The unique colors and the rustic texture unique to natural materials created by using two different colored yarns to make one fabric are impressive.
It has excellent breathability and quick-drying properties unique to ramie.
・About the design
These baggy cropped pants have a stong silhouette with a deep crotch and wide hem.
The front portion is heavily tucked, and darts are placed toward the end of the tuck from the hem to the knees, creating a three-dimensional shape.
The fabric is breathable and lightweight, so it can be worn in spring and summer when the weather is relatively warm.
As the fabric is quite thin, it is made in two pieces with a cotton lining to the hem.

Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
