DESCRIPTION
cornelian taurus （コーネリアンタウラス） by daisuke iwanaga
『平面から立体』をコンセプトにして製作された16春夏のコレクションを代表するアイテムフラットトートバックです。デフォルトのフォルムで使用するとA3サイズのキャンバスや設計図などをまっすぐ収納することが可能。底にある鋲型のボタンの留める位置を変えるだけでで立体的でコンパクトなバックにすることも可能です。移動時は斜め掛けも可能で、仕事でも使える、ありそうでなかった非常に利便性の高いバックです。ベジタブルタンニングされたステアレザーに細かいシボを入れて、染色後にオイルを入れて艶を出した革を使用。タイコの中で熱により縮ませた厚みのあるオイルシュリンクレザーを採用しています。

Bagや商品にはエレガントさ、華やかさ、遊びと機能性が高いレベルで融合させることが必要だと考えており、このブランドのプロダクトは、日本のタンナーでタンニングされたハイクオリティで特徴的な素材を使用。それに加え船具から派生する重厚で強さのある特徴的なパーツを独自のパターン、縫製、手作業によるテクニックで仕上げています。
