Yohji Yamamoto 19-20AW No Collar Long Cardigan Layered Style12/1/2019 7:55 PM
Today, from Yohji Yamamoto, we have a winter style of wearing a long cardigan with an ankle length as an inner layer and playing in a layered style with a collar and an outer layer.
A style that makes full use of the various layering details
This time, we used an ankle-length long cardigan that can be worn as a light coat in the early atutumn and made full use of the various layering styles unique to the same brand that look like a layered coat.
Check out the subtle colouring
In this style, a knit coat is used as an outer layer, but at the same time, an inner layer compensates for the windbreak that cannot be relied on only by knitting and the combination of super long length layering on the neck, tops, and outer layers gives this style a subtle touch.
For the inner wear, we selected Yohji Yamamoto's shirt with the simplest circular stitched broadcloth that we have this season.
In addition, the unique wrinkle on the collar makes it compatible with the texture of knit or wool, creating a little used atmosphere. This long cardigan with an impressive faded stripe pattern is made of densely woven wool jersey, it looks more like a jersey shirt than a cardigan.
With a clean, collarless neckline, a shirt is inserted into the inner layer and the collar is shown to add a three-dimensional feel to the neckline.
Slits on both sides allow access to the pants pockets, making the ankle-length item practical for use with pants pockets.
Only the shirt uses white for the colouring but another point is that we chose white colour details such as stripes on the cardigan and white embroidery on the knit coat so that they match harmoniously.
Shoes layered to enhance the original silhouette of shoes
You can't actually see the pants but this time you wear the drawstring pants with a wide silhouette with the white buttons on the front.
By choosing pants with a wide hem, the middle length back zip boots fit well and only the shoes look independent, emphasizing the original beautiful silhouette of back zip boots.
It is a style that can be neatly coordinated only with GUIDI shoes whose shaft is so thin.
The sole is a voluminous vibram sole type so it has a strong presence as well as the wear with a lot of volume.
These shoes are recommended for those who want to enjoy the balance of cropped pants even in winter, so if you are having trouble styling your feet in winter, please check out these shoes!
