ZIGGY CHEN 2022 Spring Summer Collection.
Spread collar shirt with a large Scholar print on the right front, a symbolic motif of the "INACGRAPHY" theme of the 2022 SS collection. Scholar prints are graphic representations of mysterious figures that appear in classical Chinese paintings and religious iconography that ZIGGY CHEN has been exposed to since childhood, collaged and reconstructed with other unrelated materials. The fabric is made of cotton-based ultra-light gabardine mixed with 10% wool, making it an all-year-round item for autumn, winter and spring/summer. The back of the yoke and the back of the breast pocket are made of a cotton-cupra stripe fabric, which has been used since the 20SS season with the intention of making the seasonality ambiguous. This fabric was originally developed in Italy by ZIGGY CHEN, who specified everything from the machine shop to the dyeing factory.

Philosophy :In 2012, ZIGGY CHEN started his own label based in Shanghai.Highly original designs, intertwined with Western culture and traditional Chinese ancient design, he works with perfection, utilising innovative sewing and construction technology. The collection has avant-garde elements with earthy, restless fabrics and original pattern work. The sewing techniques are all produced at their own sewing studio, "Made in Ziggy Chen Atelier", delivering nothing less than high quality pieces.
