RIPVANWINKLE 2023 Spring Summer Collection.
・This leather T uses European raw hides.
・Horsehide leather has many scratches, so it is usually treated with pigments and surface treatments to hide them. However, we do not dare to do so, and use only dyes to preserve the natural texture and appearance of the leather.
・The "SOLID LEATHER-T" has a different look and feel for each and every item.
・Specification change from the sample at the time of production: The zipper is scheduled to be changed to YKK Excela.
About RIPVANWINKLE
Designer: Masao Ono
Concept: Mr. Naoki Shiratani and Masao Ono established "Rip Van Winkle" in 1997.
In the era of everyday change, classical and contemporary fusion of tradition and newness comes a harmony of calmness and style is the brand philosophy. The work develops emphasis on the mood and idea. Materials are carefully examined as they continue to create genuine pieces in excellent craftsmanship.
From the autumn / winter season of 2017-18 which is the 20th anniversary of brand establishment, "r" of the high-end line is integrated with "Rip Van Winkle". Brand notation has also changed from [ripvanwinkle] to [RIPVANWINKLE]. They continue to evolve to a new stage without stopping.
