DESCRIPTION
DEVOA 20-21AW Collection.
The fabric is made of silk using 100% wild silkworms.
The fabric is made into yarn without sorting so the threads maybe different in thickness or have knots.
They are all made by hand and are slowly woven 90cm wide on the old weaving machine.
The characteristics are that the thread itself has a porous structure compared to normal silk and it has high heat retention, breathability, antibacterial properties and many functions as silk.
Dyeing is done on the fabric. The thread itself is oily and each thread has a different shape and colour so it has an atmosphere of unevenness of different colours, it is also a big feature of Wild Silk.
Special softening process is applied after dyeing to improve the softness of the fabric.

Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
