DESCRIPTION
JAN JAN VAN ESSCHE 2023 Spring Summer Collection.

A compact, basic tailored jacket with the brand's unique kimono-like sleeve design and silhouette intact.

The front and back bodice and the middle of the sleeves are all made of a single piece of fabric in this amazing pattern work.

By reducing the seams to the limit, the seams don't hit the body and provide a comfortable fit.

It has a practical design with lining only on the front and an inner pocket.

This is a jacket with a wide fit silhouette that has a lot of fabric and a draped design.

The narrow lapel design makes the front design look sharp.

The fabric is made of hemp twill fabric, which is slightly meaty but has the thick texture characteristic of hemp.

It's as soft as sandblasted or bio-processed, and you get a surprisingly pleasant touch of hemp.

About JAN JAN VAN ESSCHE
Graduated the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2003.Upon graduation, he received Dries Van Noten as well as other awards. In 2010 launched his first collection in Antwerp, Belgium. The first collection theme is "yukkuri" (slowly). This title has become an approach to showing his fundamental concept as a designer for the modern wardrobe. In 2013, the previous collection was so well received that in addition to the project the designers were also given an autonomous series of clothes designed and developed based on specific crafts and inspiration, corresponding to the annual wardrobe that decides to take the time to hone their ideas and experience a slow rhythm and pace of hand.Freedom of creation is protected and ideas can flourish. His works are delicate and multilayered, and blend in with modern urban life and personal clothing, performing a modest role in connection and acceptance slowly and carefully. They see no boundaries, no limitations, no limitations, no exclusions. The traditional silhouette is amplified, leaving room for interpretation and creating a sense of openness.
