DESCRIPTION
DEVOA 2023 Spring Summer Collection.
Outer fabric is made of silk and cotton, with a jacquard weave pattern in three colors. The fabric is made in Bishu, a Japanese woolen textile production area.
The fabric is lightweight and stretchable.
The base is a simple design with slash pockets to make use of the pattern of the fabric.
Only the sleeves are made of cotton linen knit jersey, and the body is constructed with a jacquard pattern.
The width of the body has a loose fitting balance, and the design is made with drop shoulders to match.
Although it is classified as a coat, there is no lining, so this item can be worn as a long cardigan from the transitional period from winter to spring.

Concept: Our research starts with the understanding of the natural human body movements. DEVOA constructs of pattern toward movement of skin, muscle, and frame for an action. Human body keeps evolving and degenerating which are one and indivisible as the ages go by. We express clothing based on hypothesis and the theory of evolution which DEVOA interprets.
