DESCRIPTION
JAN JAN VAN ESSCHE 2021-22 Autumn Winter Collection.

This is a short type single trench coat that was developed as this season's main outer. This is a short coat with a wide-body and tapered toward the end of the sleeves. It has a rounded silhouette characteristic of JAN-JAN and an edgy collar silhouette.Contrary to the trend of long outerwear, we selected short type with attention to the trend of short jacket style in winter with pants as the main item.By passing two draw cords through the hem, it can be changed into a more rounded silhouette. The fabric is the same high quality fiber as cashmere as last year, and the yak wool which is said to have more heat retention than cashmere is used without dyeing. The yak's original warm texture and the blue and red gray color make this item look beautiful and luxurious.

About JAN JAN VAN ESSCHE
Graduated the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in 2003.Upon graduation, he received Dries Van Noten as well as other awards. In 2010 launched his first collection in Antwerp, Belgium. The first collection theme is "yukkuri" (slowly). This title has become an approach to showing his fundamental concept as a designer for the modern wardrobe. In 2013, the previous collection was so well received that in addition to the project the designers were also given an autonomous series of clothes designed and developed based on specific crafts and inspiration, corresponding to the annual wardrobe that decides to take the time to hone their ideas and experience a slow rhythm and pace of hand.Freedom of creation is protected and ideas can flourish. His works are delicate and multilayered, and blend in with modern urban life and personal clothing, performing a modest role in connection and acceptance slowly and carefully. They see no boundaries, no limitations, no limitations, no exclusions. The traditional silhouette is amplified, leaving room for interpretation and creating a sense of openness.
